If you are an angler, and especially a bass angler, what better way to enjoy the coming of Spring than a bass tournament?  We would like to invite you to join us at Mountain Cove Marina for the 1st Annual, $10,000 SPRING THAW Open Bass Tournament sponsored by the 2010 SPRING THAW FISHING EXPO.

A great day on the lake is just the beginning of the SPRING THAW Open experience. As anglers bring their catches to the scales, the weigh-in will be broadcast live on 2-20' video screens at the 2010 Spring Thaw Fishing Expo.  This provides live coverage of the tournament, as well as making the event less stressful on the fish caught.

The winner of this tournament will be presented with a guaranteed 1st place payoff of $4000, plus other prizes and a trophy.  All the local media will be on hand for the weigh-in and the awards event.  The payout for the top 10 finishing spots is guaranteed, and will be awarded at the conclusion of the weigh-in.  All prize money awarded will be in cash or certified funds.

If you fish only one tournament in 2010, you should make it the SPRING THAW Open.  Between the prize money and the publicity, this will be a huge tournament.  In addition, starting position for the tournament is determined by the order of registration.  The first boat that registers, will be the first boat to leave the launch are the morning of the tournament.

We are only requiring a $50 registration fee to secure your starting position, the balance of the entry fee will be invoiced and due no later than 3/13/2010.
